This Privacy Policy describes how 2Cam (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the 2Cam application (“App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
2Cam is designed with privacy in mind. We want to be transparent about what we do and do not collect:
- We do not collect personal information. The App does not require account creation, login, or any form of registration.
- We do not access your photos or videos. All media captured using the App is stored locally on your device. We never upload, transmit, or access your recorded content.
- We do not track your location. The App does not request or use location data.
- We do not collect contacts, messages, or other personal data.
2. Device Permissions
The App requires the following device permissions to function:
2.1 Camera Access
Required to capture video and photos using your device's front and rear cameras. Camera data is processed in real-time on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.
2.2 Microphone Access
Required to record audio alongside video. Audio data is processed locally and is never transmitted to external servers.
2.3 Photo Library Access
Required to save captured videos and photos to your device's photo library. We do not read or access any existing content in your photo library.
You can revoke any of these permissions at any time through your device's Settings.
3. Subscription and Purchase Data
Subscription and payment information is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives:
- An anonymous app user identifier
- Subscription status (active/expired)
- Purchase history related to the App
RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any other personally identifiable information. For more details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
4. Local Data Storage
The App stores the following data locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms:
- App preferences: Settings such as resolution, watermark preference, and haptic feedback preference
- Subscription cache: A cached copy of your subscription status to ensure the App works correctly offline
- Onboarding status: Whether you have completed the initial onboarding flow
This data is stored only on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the App.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect personal information from any user, the App is safe for use by individuals of all ages, subject to parental guidance.
7. Data Security
Since all user-generated content (videos and photos) remains on your device and we do not collect personal data, the risk of data breaches affecting your information is minimal. We implement industry-standard security practices in our infrastructure.
8. Your Rights
Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete from our servers. All App data stored on your device can be deleted by uninstalling the App.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
